Any opinions on Double D Sausage?

found some at Fiesta here in Houston and it looks like they're from the Bogalusa area? Houston ain't big on hot smoked sausage, so i'm gonna give this one a try.

Used that particular version of D&D in my red beans this past Monday. Good stuff.

I like it a lot. It's not as smoky as some, but it seems to retain it's juiciness better than most brands.

I love it. It is well seasoned and has a great balance of meat:fat to it. It's one of my favorite smoked sausages around.
It does add a strong flavor to beans, so be aware. I have to tone down my seasoning when using this or else the kids complain it's too much.

I like DD. I find that it remains juicier than some other popular brands around here (S La).
