I went to Zydeco in Boutte. They have all you can eat plus shrimp, crawfish, snow, king, fried froglegs(huge), softshell crabs. Were out of snow and king tonight so I am looking for an alternate place.

Casino buffets usually have them.

Whats the buffet price these days at Zydeco?

32.00 and your 6th time is half price. I love it.
Went to Beua Revage(sp) and they had them but didnt care for them.

Tell me more about this "Zydeco" in Boutte.
I usually go to House of Seafood in Bush if I want to gorge myself, even though the quality isn't all that great. I've also been to White's in Husser which has a pretty decent buffet. For AYCE crabs my go-to is Silver Slipper in Bay St. Louis -- it's awesome and can't be beat, imo. However I've never heard of Zydeco.

If you are looking to eat close its pretty good. Its hard to beat fried softshell crabs and fried frog legs with AYCE king, snow, crawfish, shrimp. Also have fried shrimp seafood gumbo raw oysters, pasta.. It doesnt look like much from outside and you have to wait sometimes for them to put some of the food out but for the price it works for me. Its located right by Hahnville High School.

Well if you're a crab lover I highly recommend the crab buffet at Silver Slipper. It's top-notch, and not too expensive. Plus if you sign up for a free player's card you get an additional discount with it. Last time I went a couple years ago it was only $17.95 with my card. Might want to call first and make sure they still have it.

Thanks. The wife and daughters are going to Biloxi Monday. Makes me wish I was going now. To many women though no men.

Ive eaten at Zydecos twice. I found their fried food to be salty. Boilex seafood was decent though

I just got off the phone with my buddy who lives in Belle Chasse and he said the exact same thing -- food is way too salty.

That's to increase beer sales.
I am from the area. I really don't eat there too much. I find everything is overpriced. It is a decient all you can eat.
I have never been but I have been told by many that the Silver Slipper in Bay St. Louis is the best.

Silver Slipper is legit but I'm not sure if they have the Crab Feast anymore

On the buffet at Lauberge, what else is on the menu.

I don't ever want to be in the same room as the people who frequent these things. frick it, I'll pay for it by the cluster.
