Anyone have experience with Member's Mark (Sam's) higher-end grills?

Member’s Mark Pro Series 5-Burner Gas Grill with Thermostatic Control
That one is $699. The 4-burner of similar spec is $499. The reviews are pretty consistent in saying these are good quality and less expensive than their name-brand competition.
It's interesting to me to be able to use a propane grill similar to an oven. Can do some of the annoying oven duties (like seasoning cast iron and carbon steel or smelly stuff like baking fish) outside.

Member’s Mark™ Pro Series 5 Burner Propane Gas Grill with Patented Thermostatic Control will elevate your grilling experience, with its versatility and cooking control, unmatched by any grill in its class.
The Patented Thermostatic Control System allows users to switch between two modes of cooking. In BBQ mode, users will enjoy traditional grilling with variable temperatures up to 650°F. When switching from BBQ mode to Thermostatic Control, users will set one of the precise preset temperatures ranging from 225°F to 450°F, much like an oven, and the system will precisely maintain set temperatures, constantly monitoring and adjusting as needed, to ensure temperature accuracy.

Every detail of the cooking system has been fine-tuned to ensure superior and consistent cooking performance. With 640 sq. inches of heavy-duty 304 stainless steel cooking grates, 12,000 BTU infrared sear burner, powerful 304 stainless steel burners, 304 stainless steel heat tents, and a all-weather electronic ignition system that is weather-proof, it offers one of the most reliable grills in the industry.

Not sure about the grill but my neighbor has the 5 burner griddle and it works great.

The only thing that would give me pause is the glass window. I seems like an easy thing to break with high heat or outside freezing temps. Also would get dirty pretty quickly and you’ll have to clean it regularly

I've done some reading on the burners. I think the quality of the steel is a little inferior to that of the weber.
Also, the burners look to be installed pretty deep inside the oven. I wonder how hot it gets and how long it takes to come to temperature.
I'm following this thread.

Members Mark stuff is usually made by another company. A search mentions Royal Oak and Green Mountain as the most likely manufacturers.

Wow

Green mountain makes great pellet smokers (assuming it’s the same Green a mountain)

The Members Mark brand in Sams is usually so much cheaper that I started looking up who makes it for Sam’s. It is usually a name brand company making it to Members Mark specs. I have purchased Members Mark products many times and haven’t had bad luck with anything yet. I don’t own a grill from them though.

Nothing beats the Genesis for the money and quality.

I think that's the non-Pro version.
*ETA: never mind. I'm mad I missed it. Would have 100% scooped up the 4-burner for $300
*ETA2: the one that was $299 is always 299 LINK. The 4-burner equivalent (with Thermostatic Control) is still $500 LINK

That 3-burner is like, what, $900? 1000?
The one in my OP is a 5-burner with more functionality for 700 (or you can do 4-burner for 500)

Is there one website that lists all this info out?

I don’t know. I have done internet searches out of curiosity usually looking at one or two products. I’ve never seen one website with a list but have not looked for one either.

I concur. The only problem I've had with my Weber Genesis is I just bought the 5 /\ shaped bars heat diffuser/flavor bars that go in the grill since the ones that are in it have gotten very rusted and need changing, and that is after 6 years use.
The 3 burner Weber replaced a 5 burner Charbroil SS grill that found me having to replace something just about every year after the first 2 years use.
Another thing I love about the Weber is the ease of cleaning. A deep clean-----removing all components----to get to the entire grill to clean is an easy task.
This grill will outlive me.

I changed the flavorizer bars several times over the last 15 years. It was worth every penny and still rolling today.

I use mine as an oven. Started doing my Thanksgiving turkeys on the gas grill, use it for sides for big family dinners, salmon, etc. Nice when you have several things to go in the oven and don’t have room.

What time frame are you looking to keep the grill? If 10 years which you will get out of the Weber we are talking $30/ year more if the MM lasts that long. Cheaper on the front end doesn’t mean cheaper in the long term. While initial costs may seem much larger, longevity of the costlier “better” product may be worth it.
When comparing items by price you always need to take a step back and look at it with the correct perspective. IE… $500 extra for a flight that saves you a hour and half of travel time versus $500 for an item that will last 10 years.

Like any gas grill, they will only last as long as your maintenance routine permits. I owned one many years ago that had inferior interior parts so can't speak to their current models. However, having owned many gas grills through the years, nothing beats the higher quality gassers. I currently own an early 90's Weber with side burner, Nat Gas that needs some TLC, but came across a 2007 Wilmington Grill that I refurbed. Will be selling my Weber Grill as the WG is a beast.

Sure, but there is no reason to assume the Weber will last longer, especially a modern Weber.
Weber ain't the same but charges a premium like it's 2005 quality still.
*ETA: I actually looked up the comparable grill, and my estimate was off.
Weber Genesis E-435 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Black ($1399 at Amazon)
$100 higher at Lowes
That's 280% higher than the MM 4-burner (Which is 500), with less functionality. The standard MM 4-burner pro is 300, so the comparable Weber is 466.67% higher. This is not some insignificant difference in price.
