Lots of recipes out there, just wondering if anyone tried or came up with one they thought was really close.

I started this exact topic two days ago and the FDB lost their minds.

My wife found three or four recipes on line, played/combined them and came up with one pretty damn close.

The biggest things are marinating the chicken in milk and a few tablespoons of dill pickle brine. Plus, a few tablespoons of powdered sugar in your batter.

Yes. Worked through the Kenji Lopez-Alt copycat recipe. Was a lot of work to make something that tastes like a chicken sandwich from CFA.

Key is putting it in foil after assembly to let it steam.

Do not listen to this man. I used to work at CFA and they do neither of these things

I came pretty close by using a dry pancake mix one time.
