Anything worthwhile restaurant-wise in Thibodaux?

Seems sort of a weird black hole in the state for dining out. Never see much mentioned of places there and seems hard to find if there is anything good.

Anyone here able to point me to what I might be missing? Anything that might be open on a Sunday?

I haven't been in town in a long time but would definitely recommend Fremins

Big Mikes was pretty good when I went a month or two ago. Nothing to write home about, but good bbq.

What are you looking for?

Cinclaire, Cuvee, Fremins, Big Mike’s BBQ, Grady V’s, Flanagan’s….. they all serve their specific needs, good sushi, hibachi and sashimi at Geaux Fish, other than that is chains and hole in the wall joints.

I think that's their 4th location. Definitely not a bad casual spot for bbq. I liked the smoked pork and they have pretty good sides

That may fit the bill on what I'm looking for since it appears to be open on Sunday, even though it's sort of outside the box on what I'd be thinking to find in Thibodaux.

Pictures look pretty good.

Thanks

Is Envie still open?

Fremins was by far my favorite when I was in that area

Flanagan's was pretty good but more casual

Envie has been bought out and does a half decent breakfast and mainly boiled and fried seafood on weekends, it’s called Rendezvous now I believe. The best breakfast in town is Spahrs downtown by far, lunch I’d hit Grady V’s, Big Mike’s or Gina’s at the legion. Dinner options depending on the day are Cinclaire by far then Fremin’s/Cuvee or a casual spot would be Flanagan’s.

Cinclare
Grady V’s
Big Mike’s BBQ
Would also add Alumni but they’re still waiting to rebuild from recent fire.

Another vote for Fremins.

I also like Sphar’s for fried seafood and bloodies, and Piazza for calzones and beers.
