Been looking at them, but haven’t convinced myself to purchase one.

Pros?
Cons?

Convection oven

A small and efficient one. I use mine almost daily but I am usually just cooking for myself and maybe two boys.

Pros: Heats up and cooks things faster. You can get a good crisp due to the convection. Great for leftovers and frozen food.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

But don't get a small basket type. Get a large one that will be a toaster oven also.

And this. Mine has adjustable racks. Cook proteins and vegetables at the same time in the same appliance.

100%

Yes a convection oven does the same thing, but having a countertop sized one that heats quickly is much more convenient than using our full size oven. I use mine multiple times daily and bring it with us on vacation

I have the small basket kind (well a big basket really). It's fine but if buying again, I'd get the toaster/air fryer combo. But we use the heck out of it especially with kids. Basically most things you'd do in oven are quicker and better in air fryer. We threw basic chicken breasts in it the other night and they turned out awesome. It's a reheating beast also.

Depends on the type.

I had one with a bucked situation and it was worthless

I have one that’s like 5 in one toaster over, conventional over, air fryer (and like 2/3 other setting I cant Remember)

It’s fricking amazing. I can Make like chicken nuggets for my kid in 10
Minutes. No preheating. Made zucchini fries in 10 minutes perfectly cooked.

I use one at work a good bit. I like it. When I upgrade my stove/oven, I'll get one that has the airfryer in the oven.

For re-heating anything fried, cooking frozen pizza, snacks, small batches of sausage, bacon etc..its really convenient. I never thought we would use it as much as we do.

It’s a small oven that you don’t have to wait as long to pre heat. Just makes things easy. I have an old smaller one. I use it for things that I used to put in the oven but not for things that are battered like friend fish. Lots of good uses though and convenient.
