Auburn- the Hound?

I’ll be in Auburn on Super Bowl Sunday. I saw a few people recommend the Hound. Does it have TV’s?
I’ll be with the family so don’t really want a sports bar. Just a place with good food and TV’s.

They do have a couple of TVs in there and the food is supposed to be good. I haven't been there since the new ownership. Halftime is another nearby place you might consider, as is Live Oaks. Outside of the downtown area, you might try Bauhowers.

There may be a couple behind the bar, but it's not really a joint for sports watching.
Food is good, though.

There are a few. The food is great, but I wouldn't 100% count on being able to see a tv.

Ate there last year during the Final Four. Was able to watch the game that was on at the time.
Great food and drinks. I recommend it.

I don't recall if there are TVs in the two back rooms. I remember seeing some extra TVs in the middle of the dining room hanging from the ceiling but I've never seen them on. Only the ones behind the bar. Might be a gameday only thing? Here's a picture from Google.

Are you trying to watch the super bowl? I guess you don't really care? Most places with a TV and decent food will likely be very busy in Auburn for the Superbowl. I'd definitely plan on that.
I'm assuming you don't really care to watch you just wanted to be able to get an occasionally score check or something?

Taking your kid around to SEC schools? We went to 5 this summer with ours…was pretty fun overall.

Yep, and maybe an ACC school or two also.

As others have said, it has a few tv's around, but is definitely not a sports bar vibe. Food is fantastic.

We went Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, and Arkansas…so a nice little ride around the south.
We liked Florida/Gainsville more than most people seem to. Surprised it was so hilly. Our ceremonial first stop at each college was the football stadium…UF’s was the only one totally opened (though you can go inside Georgia’s on a promenade). Kids studying in there, some running bleachers, bunch on phones…just was cool to get that feeling.
Im sure the ACC has some beautiful campuses.

If you walk into Acre, you and your group can sit at the bar any time. There are tv’s at the bar. Food is fantastic there. The Redfish on the Half Shell is one of my favorite dishes anywhere.
