Anybody have any tips from experience in making these?
Trying to figure out how to get the bacon as crisp as possible without completely overcooking the shrimp.
Bake? Broil? Grill? Smoke? Seasoning recs?

Microwave the bacon for a minute or so before you wrap the shrimp.

How big are the shrimp and what's your address?
But seriously, I've done them in a broiler and on the pit and never had an issue with the shrimp being overcooked but I use big shrimp and regular cut bacon (not the thick cut). Quick high heat and you're good to go.
As far as seasoning, I always brushed them with BBQ sauce when they were done so other than a little Louisiana Creole seasoning, I never add much.

That was my exact thought process, bigger shrimp (14 to 16 count), high heat.

I do the same thing. Cook in 30 second intervals.

Microwave bacon before.
Shrimp cook very fast so I have the bacon almost done before the whole concoction goes on the heat

1. Fry bacon in hot skillet for 1minute
2. Boil shrimp in salty water for 30 seconds
3. Wrap bacon around shrimp and broil in oven for 3 min.
4. Call me to come help you eat them.

Damn, that's my #1 favorite food wrapped around my #3 favorite food. I'd go to a banquet in honor of those Somali pirates if they served bacon wrapped shrimp.

A local restaurant in BSL, Trapani's, makes what they call shrimp ecstasy. This pic sucks, but it's got some cream cheese jalapeño mix inside and it sits in honey.
Good stuff, I guess they bake them.

cook the bacon a bit, then coat the shrimp with the slightly cooled grease before wrapping and broiling for a few minutes each side ...
