My wife has a new sales rep flying in to BR today to train with her for a few days. She is looking for good spots to take her to lunch. The new girl is a bit of a health nut, so healthy options must be available. I know all the old spots, but since I have been working in Prairieville for the past year, I thought maybe something new slipped in under my radar. My wife works all over the state and is rarely around BR for lunch, so she is out of the loop as well.

Tia.

Byronz has some healthier choices, and is pretty damn good
Any of the Greek/Lebanese places (I'm an Albasha fan) as long as you only eat half of the gargantuan plate of food that they bring you

Mansur's on the Boulevard has a great lunch menu that won't break the bank. Try the warm duck salad.

Agree with the Byronz, but add Chelseas or Zeeland to the mix.

ETA, to let her see the funkier side of things BR and NOLA style, the original Georges. Healthy it ain't, but the culture shock should wow her.

Josey, is she a yankee, or, a furreigner?
If so, might as well take her to the best that the South has to offer.. It'll spoil her, though..

She is a Southerner, Georgia to be exact. She missed her flight, so she missed out on lunch today. They still have Thursday and Friday though. Thanks for the replies. Looks like she is gonna try Byronz one of the days.

That's the place that specializes in gluten free, is it not? I've heard good things about them. Might have to check them soon.

I want to try that place.

Ruffinos is open for lunch on Friday. J. alexanders has some great salads and I stop in there for lunch occasionally.

Phil Brady's is a dive bar that has decent food - and cheap!
