Benoit's Meat Market in Addis (Green Bug found)

I drive to Bergeron's across the river weekly to eat and today I thought I'd try Benoit's in Addis instead. I've seen the place several times driving down LA 1.
Well, as I begin to eat the second half of my roast beef poboy I notice a nice 1/2 inch green bug with wings on the outside of the bread. It was kinda in a crease of the bread, not smashed into it. The bug was dead.
I went back inside and got my money back. The staff was more than helpful. I wish I would have taken a picture. This pic is the best I could find in terms of what it looked like. We are not talking the size of a knat, this was every bit of a 1/2 inch.
Green Bug (Best replica I could find)
I completely understand things happen, but this was not a small mosquito or knat. It was visible as soon as I turned the bread over.

I was born and raised in Plaquemine and Addis...for you to sully the name of Benoits is borderline blasphemy.
Their Jerky and stuffed Pchops are off the chain.

Plant bug? Good thing he was on your sandwich and not your cotton crops.

Did they charge extra for the bug?

They probably heard you intended to go to Bergeron's first.

Why would you drive across the river to get a roast beef poboy?

The chicken sausage I would understand, but a roast beef poboy?

stick with the smoked meats and you'll be fine. under no circumstances should you be driving into WBR for a poboy unless you like burning gas and shitty poboys - I live in WBR so I can say that.
