Need to pick up a few links to take home for a cookout before wedding festivities. Anyone got some recs for personal faves? I’m a big fan of Billy’s but that’s too far out of my way to go get for tomorrow

I have heard good things about chris speciality meats store in lakeview
Not about the boudin specifically, but about the store in general. So I would maybe try there

Maybe try Tres Bon in River Ridge?

Haven’t tried their boudin but “piece of meat” just opened in mid city. I had their chicken salad sandwich w blueberry bbq sauce and it was crazy good. They supply and are backed by bayou wine/beer garden and make all the sausages/charcuterie to serve at BWG. They had a glass counter full of boudin, different sausages, and smoked meats.
Also you could try Cochon butcher as well. They make their own boudin in house to sell as well.

There’s no boudin in Metairie, or New Orleans, aside from Chris’ Specialty Meats in Lakeview.
There’s a place in LaPlace that I heard was good but I’ve never been. Maybe some us been and can confirm?
Usually I hit Bergeron’s in PA or Billy’s/Dons/BestStop when passing through Scott.

I’d second this suggestion. That’s where I usually buy from

Boudin by Jamison is the best in the area, and it’s not close.

Drive at least to Laplace and go to either Bailey's or Wayne Jacobs.
