How do Mcwares compare to magnalite.

I’m deciding between a new Mcware
And a used magnelite on eBay

Sorry, not the case. Wagner was an old very good maker of cast iron at the same time as Griswold. Wagner cast iron carried the mark of Sydney-O- for Sydney Ohio, iirc. Wagner was the original aluminium pans which they named “Magnalite” (Griswold also had an aluminium line). Your Sydney pan was made in Ohio

If you've never cooked with a classic Magnalite Roaster you won't know the difference if you get a McWare. Just get the Mcware, they cook great.

That's good to know. The original magnalite pots are way, way overpriced.

If you have a Stdney -O- Magnalite, you have a treasure!

Wagner sold to GHC which eventually went out of business. The GHC pans were good, but, imo, not as good as the Sydney-O-
