Best Cannoli's in NOLA?

I'm not a big cannoli guy, but my MIL is hosting a party this weekend in Mobile and asked if I can pick up a dozen for her for the party. Anyone have any suggestions? I know Brocato's but I was wondering if anyone had any better places.
TIA
TIA

Box of cannolis and a second of assorted treats.
Brocato's is a damn gem

Brocato's is the gold standard. Filled properly, to order.
But someone brought us a half dozen from Cibo on Carrollton & those were pretty good too. This was pre-Covid, so I dunno if they're still filling them to order or what.

They will even sell you a "kit" with the shells, filling, precut piping bag, and pistachios. If you are buying them early in New Orleans and taking them to a party that evening, that may be the way to go, if you have time to assemble them later. Shells start to get soggy after a few hours if filled.

CIBO on Carrollton has really good ones.

Ive found Brocato's frozen cannoli's in Rouses, fwiw.
They are pretty damn close to the fresh ones.

I live less than a mile from Brocato's and that is the place I get fresh cannoli from when I want them. I'll usually get a few of them, a bag of assorted biscotti and a bag of fig cookies.
None of it is what I consider cheaply priced, but damn good and well worth it.

Brocato's
I grew up down the street from Mr. Angelo, and played sports with his 2 sons. Some of my greatest childhood memories are dad bringing home Cannolis and Manuel’s hot tamales on Friday nights.

When it comes to Italian desserts and ice creams, there is no better place in NOLA than Angelo Brocato's.

I believe you can get their cannoli at Anthony’s Italian Deli in BR. I get the spumoni when I go there so I’m going to have to see if they do.. Calandros carries the spumoni and gelato too.

99% of others are a disappointment.

All I know is Brocato’s for Cannolis. I love that place however, I have had better gelato/ Ice outside the state.

I'm trying to figure out how this thread went further than this one reply.

The gelato there is good, but it's not going to blow you away. Place really shines on its cannoli and other old school Sicilian confections.
