Best drink to mix Jack Daniels with other than coke?

Ive been thinking every time im drinking whiskey I have it mixed with a coke or just on the rocks any other ideas or should I just go on the rocks?

I'm not big on whiskey, but my dad and brother like crown with water. I'm assuming Jack would be similarly gross.

If you absolutely have to mix whiskey with a soda, I'd recommend Ginger Ale.
