I haven't had the one at Atomic Burger, but Bullchicks has a good dog.

But really, I like to grill my own at home. Personally, I like hot dog a bit overcooked almost to the point of burnt.

Its a chain, and sadly not very good. I feel bad because the owners seem like sweet people, but everything is "cooked" via a salamander type deal. No fryers or anything in the place. Lots of frozen pre-made items.

I love a good Chicago Dog.

Sometimes I try And make them at home, but it’s hard to find the exact relish.

Idk anywhere in BR that is a good one

The best hot dog you’ll ever eat in your life is at Duffy’s diner in new Iberia. Chili cheese mustard onions. They put it in a type of French bread bun from somewhere around the area. Someone told me a bakery in jeanerette. I’ve tried to recreate it at home and, it’s just never the same. It’s the BEST hot dog ever! Worth a drive down there.

If you want an interesting drive through hot dog, freddys on siegen makes a Chicago dog that’s good. I prefer it without butter on the Texas toast (makes it a little soggy) But everything else is an excellent little concoction

Side note, not exactly related, but Frankie’s Dawg House has delicious boudin links. Maybe the best I’ve had. I really want to know where they get them from..

The wiener has to be all-beef, preferably Nathan's. And the chili has to be the dominant flavor. Hard to describe, but I'll know it when I taste it. And of course mustard and chopped onions all on a toasted King's Hawaiian bun! That, my friend, is hot dog heaven

Sounds like you can make it yourself…

Hands down Shake Shack with their cheese on top. Worth the drive to Metairie or Nola for it

I wish they would add their Sonoran hot dog to their permanent menu. So good.

I like to score mine and boil them in crawfish boil on the store for about 5 minute cut the heat and let them soak another 5 then finish on the grill, for some char. then is spicy deli mustard, dill relish most of the time, a little onion when I'm in the mood. ill also add some home maid Cincy chili and shredded cheese on occasion if I've made the chili.

Cincy Chili on a Hot Dg>>>>>>>than on spaghetti.
