Yep, different owners. Original Ces’t Bon’s in Mermentau is still serving good food, including great boiled crawfish.

Vestal is the best restaurant in the city, IMO.

I beg do differ with your opinion. Jane’s French Cuisine is the best restaurant in town.

I would be thrilled to live in a city with so many good local options under the OP's very limited request.

Aristos cooks/serves solid groceries. Dude came to Lafayette from Cyprus 40 years ago with nothing and built a great restaurant and loyal following.

Best damn lamp chops in the state. I like to have mine served on a bed of their shrimp alfredo.

Old fashioned and a glass of water to wash it all down. Maybe more than one old fashioned.

Another favorite seafood place is Duprey's in Abbeville

Well this place Duprey's you speak of may be hard to find because, frankly, it doesn't exist. It's DUPUY'S.

Family friends. Absolute shame that the youngsville location was able to utilize a similar name. I help cater for the one and only, the original C'est Bon in Mermentau. Great folks and great food. If anyone ever wants to grab a cold beer, hit me up! 1st round on me!

Jane's is good but slow, small and awkward with the chef yelling at his cooks/sous chefs 3 feet from your table.

They were good until they started all their left wing political BS and quality and service suffers now.

Don’s Hut- Lafayette

We had a family get-together there a couple years ago. Score it an A+. This year we met at Fezzo's in Broussard. Everything was great there as well. May prefer Don's but both were excellent.

Seems like Lafayette has a vibrant food scene.

Left wing "BS" apparently you don't know Aristos. He's about as far away from the left as you can get. Now if you said this about French Press or a downtown restaurant you'd be correct.

This had to have been an April Fools comment if talking about Poseidon’s.
