Best Local Place in Metairie CBD

My company moved our place from BR to Metairie. I'm tired of chains. What are some good local places to try maybe off Airline, Clearview, or what not? The only local one I have tried so far has been Jams.

Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop, Moe's BBQ on Causeway, Bud's Broiler right off Causeway and Vets, The Larder.

Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop is vastly underrated. Location throws you off, but he knows how to cook.

I am not a fan of okra .. he seems to use that in all of his gumbo's but grinds it up or something. I still need to get CRGS a shot.
