Not sure what the best in Alec is because it’s all mediocre at best .Spirits isn’t great but not bad for casual . For a fancy dining experience the Diamond Grill downtown is pretty good actually for being in A- town . People flock to outlaws bbq mostly for lunch but it is garbage . Mandarin for Chinese food is pretty good . A town will never have anything really good because most of the people that live around here think Texas Roadhouse is the greatest thing on earth.

Noodles and Grill
Some of you can call Outlaws garbage all you want, but that's just silly.

There are good restaurants, they just aren’t as flashy as what you’ll find in BR or Laffy
For instance if you drive by Brocato’s it doesn’t really look like somewhere you’d want to eat but the food is great.
I haven’t been to Tx roadhouse in years but the seasoning they use on the steaks is pretty damn good I’ll say that

Don’t go to Outlaws,
I think its ok but Eddie’s is a little better
Never tried Koal’s
There are a few food trucks as well. The one by that exxon where 28 breaks off west is really good and always busy. Authentic Mexican

Outlaws is not garbage but it isn’t great. Koals is top tier bbq and we are lucky to have it in Cenla.
Noodles and grill is very good Asian food and pho u is decent. I also miss viet thai bistro. It was easily 9/10. I must say that if it had to be sacrificed for us to get a good Indian place, then I am ok with that. Royal India bistro is 10/10 food. They do sometimes have a service issue but the food is always fire. Hit their brunch buffets on sat and sun for a few different things. They put out a mushroom tikka masala that isn’t on the menu that I will be ordering as my go to from here on out.
Quebedeauxs is 8/10. Stay away from their burgers and steaks though. Their pastas and Cajun/creole food is 10/10.
Mikados is the best sushi I have had outside of the pacific coast.
Wildwood pizza has a couple of pizzas that will change your life (hit the quan, no chicken extra pepperoni).
