Or kenner.. have in-laws coming in town for New Year’s and want to take them to get some seafood. Not really looking to fight downtown parking, crime, etc. unless it’s a must.
Kenner Seafood?
Drago’s?
Deanie’s?
Blue crab?
Would go to Middendorf’s but they don’t have raw oysters

If they’re flying in this would be my suggestion.

Harbor Seafood (or Fisherman’s Cove whatever it’s called)
R&Os had surprisingly good fried seafood.
Kenner Seafood was good last time I went a few years ago.
Throw in Mr Ed’s Oyster House

Quarter view in metairie has good seafood pastas.
Boiled food is is pretty good for a restaurant.
Fried food is my favorite thin fried catfish and the batter has extra lemony flavor.

Harbor is good but you may need to take out a second mortgage to pay the check.

Yeah main menu priorities would be fried seafood and raw oysters.
Harbor
Kenner
Smitty’s
Quarter View
Mr. Ed’s

Probably in the order you just listed

I’d move Kenner ahead of Harbor. Harbor was not good recently.

I've had harbor on several occasions and its meh at best. Kenner Seafood is always good, and Smittys on West Esplanade is another solid option that most aren't aware of.

Seither’s in Harahan would be my vote, but I think he is closed for vacation until after the first of the year. Worth a call to check though. His stuff is always on point.

The Galley. You will pay, but everything there is good. They have boiled seafood also.
