This will be a hell of a debate
I actually like the ones at Mr. Ed's
I forget how they come dressed so you may want to specify exactly how you want it

There is a place just a few blocks into Metarie off Vets that I can't remember the name of, but it is near Martins wines on a side street. HUGE quantity of shrimp on a loaf, enough that you can make a meal out of the shrimp that fall out of the thing as you're eating.

Good choice.
I like Rodastas and R&O's too.
All of these places are going to be very crowded today, so get there early or plan to wait.

Sammy's Po Boys good gumbo too.
Parrins is a great spot however I find the fried seafood to lack seasoning.

Bozo's Restaurant @ 3117 21st St., Metairie,
When is the last time you visited this place?
Every since the family got out of the business, I've heard quite a few reports of a big drop off.

I've been going twice a year for as long as I can remember and I have noticed a definite drop in food quality the past 3 or 4 visits.

Bozo's has fallen off, I won't go back.

Who's running it now? I was never all that impressed with it when the old Croatian family was in charge, to be honest with you. I understand, it had a certain appeal, though.

The amount of shrimp they give you on a po-boy is just insane. It is enough for two po-boys.
I like the place in general, but the place turns into a cluster fck on lent Fridays and I think the quality drops.
At the end of the day, I think most places get it right with fried shrimp. As long is it is fresh and seasoned, it isn't hard for any place to do it.
It takes alot more effort to do a good roast beef po-boy.

I've only eaten there once and got the shrimp po boy. I won't be going back.
