Need suggestions. Something that is close to what I would get in a restaurant.

I've never gotten a store bought base, but if someone can recommend one that is as good as the real thing then I'm getting that pho sure.

Any reason why you don't want to make your own? It's pretty easy.

Go to an Asian market and ask them. I went to make my own and the employee said many restaurants use whatever one they pointed to me. It was great.

This brand has a few varieties and they've all been solid. Been using them for years. I've been getting them at the Hong Kong market over on the West Bank in New Orleans.

Best pho is made upon hrs and often overnight. Not going to get a great store bought base if you really have a palate for good pho.

Beef pho Broth

Try this one, very easy closest thing to restaurant Pho broth, just add beef. They also have chicken.

Couple friends of mine swear by the Red Stick Spice Market mix.

It's actually a very complex dish that takes 7-9 hours of prep and cook time to execute correctly. Also, it's a very impractical dish to make from scratch for just one or two persons.

The what’s pho dinner mix from red stick spice is very good. It’s a great time saver, and you don’t have to go buy a ton of spices that you don’t use very often. I toast it in the pan before putting it in a cheese cloth and letting it cook in store bought bone broth. I also back off about a quart of broth and add a little better than bullion beef paste.

I also like to get a prime sirloin from Rouse’s and put it in the freezer for about an hour. Makes is real to slice thin and drop it in your pho.
