Best tequila for margaritas?

I am using Milagro Anejo tonight and it is fantastic. Haven’t used it before but it hits the right notes.
3 parts tequila + 1 part triple sec + 1 part agave nectar + 1/2 a lime = bliss

Milagro silver, respado or anejo are all great for margs. Don’t use premium tequila for margs. I like silver in mine for a more pronounced tequila taste.

I use Don Julio Blanco, I don’t use triple sec, I prefer Cointreau, I don’t use agave(or any other) syrup, and fresh squeezed lime juice. Shaken, served on the rocks, with a salt rimmed glass…

Espolòn Blanco or Reposado. Don't use sipping tequila for margaritas.
