In my 40+ years of cooking eggs, I’ve never seen one like this until this morning. I about puked. I’ve seen little blood spots on yolks, but never the entire white was red.
I scooped it out and threw it away.
This is not it, just an example. The one I found today was bloodier than this.

I did notice the shell was very thin and fragile.

Was not expecting THAT much blood. I’ll eat week old pizza and expired food, but that’s a little much.

Not worth the risk due to bacteria. After all it is just an egg. Blood spots are normal due to ruptured vessels in the final stages of formation. The only time I saw that in my chicken judging days at LSU the chicken at inflamed fallopian tubes from E. Coli

Nope, no way in hell. I'd feed it back to my chickens. Or the dog.

Never allow chickens to eat eggs. They will develop a taste and start eating them before they can be collected.

Maybe if you throw a whole egg in there so it busts so that they start associating it with food.

My chickens get scrap scrambled eggs all the time and never crack their own eggs.

Generally an unfertilized egg is what we eat (some may be fertilized, in rare instances), sooooo, chicken period. Never seen that much blood, though. Gross.
