Boiling crawfish and potatoes/corn/garlic separately. Help

So, I'm stuck in Tulsa, OK and the only place that sells crawfish doesn't boil them with anything else unless you want to pay 2-3 more per pound. So, I was going to boil everything else myself. Has anyone ever done this, and if so, do you have any tips?

Boil all your vegetables first.
Start with:
Potatoes and Onions for the first 10 minutes
Add Garlic and mushrooms, and boil for 5 minutes.
Then, and corn for the last 5 minutes.
Total = 20 minutes, then soak for another 20.

Do you just add Louisiana Crawfish Boil? And if so, how much do you use?

I add a whole jar of the extra spicy powder mix. Then I add a couple cups of the liquid spice. The a lot of fresh lemons. Just a little salt (Not much at all).
And every batch add a little more of all of these spices.
It's kind of hard to put in writing, but I think I've perfected the mix.

I only ordered 14 pounds for about4 or five of us. I plan on making about 12 potatoes, 8 ears of corn, 6-7 cloves. Could you give me a rough estimate of what you would use?

Put a little less than half of what I said in there.
You may want to get more crawfish than that tho. It isn't worth the trouble to only boil 14 lbs.

No, they only sell it pre boiled without the sides. so, I'm gonna have to make the rest separately. I'll only be boiling the potatoes, corn, and garlic.

Oh, got you. I would get some mushrooms also.
Like I said, use a little less than 1/2 of what I had in there.

Yep, don't forget the shrooms or the SAUSAGE!

RIght now I have:
2 lemons - halfed
small onions - peeled roughly 4
Whole mushrooms - roughly 8
6 Small red/new potatoes
6 ears of corn (halfed)
3 halfs of garlic
Does this sound alright for 14 pounds of crawfish.

Figure it by the amount of people.
Count on...
4 mushrooms
1 garlic
3 potatoes
2 corns
1 onion
Per Person...
All that stuff is pretty cheap, if you have too much don't, then oh well.

Please don't forget the sausage. Sausage is a tasty, fairly cheap filler as well, especially when you don't have that much crawfish. Cut up in "large bite" sized pieces to boil.

More mushrooms. Mushrooms have become my favorite side with crawfish. They really soak up the spices well.
And I also agree on throwing some sausage in as well.

you must have sausage. almost any kind you buy from the store will do fine. also more mushrooms.

We've always put the veggies in last because they absorb so much of the seasoning.

I do it opposite, b/c vegetables do well in an ice chest. They stay hot. And if you are doing more than one sack of c-fish how do you do the vegetables last?
I always do the expensive, main course (the crawfish) after the veggies.

Everything turned out awesome. Thanks for the advice. Probably some of teh best I've ate in a while. The sausage was a nice touch.

I am so sorry. Make frequent trips to K.C. for barbeque, that's about all one can do.
