Just got a bread maker. Anyone have any tips/ recipes/ instructions so I don't screw up the first few times I try this?

Best damn baking resource on the web is King Arthur Flour's website. The recipe section has a whole category devoted to machine recipes: LINK
It is hard to screw up w a bread machine. As long as your yeast is fresh (check the expiry date on package) and you have a decent recipe designed for a machine, you successful.
Remember that you can use the machine to knead and bulk proof, then take it out and shape into rolls, etc and bake in the regular oven. You're not stuck just with the oddly shaped loaf the machine generates.
