AWESOME!
Best spaghetti I have ever eaten. Never going back to Ragu or Paul Newman's brand (which I have liked forever).
Try this stuff. Got a nice spice to it.

Try a little daube next time and impress your guests....make the red gravy (less the chuck meat)....and add a chuck roast browned...cook down in gravy till falling apart. Serve with pasta and good buttered french bread and watch the faces. Here is the red gravy recipe.
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 Pound Pork country style ribs
1/2 pound chuck steak
2 large onions, chopped
5 cloves garlic, chopped
6 12 ounce cans tomato paste
1 cup red wine
4 large bay leaf
1 tablespoon basil leaves
1 tablespoon oregano leaves
6 quarts water
salt
1. In olive oil, sear meat and set aside. Saute onions and garlic, add paste and spices, stirring constantly to prevent sticking...approx 30 min..
2. Add meat , water, and wine. Bring to a boil . Lower to simmer, cover and simmer 3 hours.

I've never seen this product. Where did you buy it?

TT, that recipe looks nice. I haven't made my own sauce in a few years (sad, I know) but I will take the time to try yours next time. May surprise the wife with this one, actually. Thanks.

Not to sound pompus but, I just can't make red gravy for two...only for the 6th fleet...so I always have plenty of red gravy in the freezer...I can't even remember the last time I opened up a jar of sauce.

Mrs. G bought it at Fresh Market here in Lafayette. Have also seen it at Fresh Pickin's.

Same here. Have to make a large quantity and keep it in the freezer. Made a new "stash" Sunday, as a matter of fact.
