Looking for a day trip into Houma and Grand Isle, need some suggestions for great local spots. I love boudin, crawfish, any fish, fried stuff, etc...
No national chains please.

Depending on your route: Bourgeois Meat Market for beef jerky, hogs head cheese, cracklins, and boudin.
Also, the fried chicken at the Conoco gas station (Jo-Bob's) in Grand Isle is pretty solid believe it or not
And not sure if the Leeville Restaurant is still open, but it used to be good from what I remember.

Theres TARC on the east side of Houma. They have some of the best down home food in all of Houma. Only open for lunch M-F.
Christianos (Upscale Italian)
Bayou Delight
Heberts
Boudreaux and Thibodauxs
The Shack
Cest Bon
Big Mike's Smokehouse
Schmoopies in Dulac
Leeville Seafood restaurant was destroyed in the last Hurricane and has been torn down. The son owns Cher A Mis in Larose and it's very good, pretty much same menu as Leeville.
Griffins in Shell station in Raceland is really good, they also have a location in Houma (the original one)
In Grand Isle theres only a few sit down places. Starfish are Lighthouse have the same owner and are pretty decent. Theres also Hurricane Hole which is a little more upscale.

They have good stuff, I hit them up after my Catfish Lake Fishing trips.

Ha! My favorite place to sober up a little after a day of drinking on the beach.

For fried seafood and chargrilled oysters, can’t go wrong with Cajun Critters in on LA 24 in Bayou Cane.

South Lafourche Area is home to several really good down home places headlined by Cher Amie's in Cut Off. Other really good places include The Balcony in Larose and Mommy Jo's in Cut Off.

Yep. There's one in Galliano on the way down to Grand Isle, and get a bloody mary.

Don’t know if Big Al’s Seafood is still around but the boiled and fried seafood was great from what I remember.
