This happens once a week - use the search feature

Or check out carolinas.eater.com and find the Charleston section

The places I am looking at are:

FIG
Chubby Fish
Husk
Poogan's Porch
167 Raw Bar
The Darling
Leon's Oyster
Callie's Hot Little Biscuit (Breakfast)
The Ordinary
Miller's All Day (Breakfast/ Brunch)
Lewis BBQ
Rodney Scott BBQ
Citrus Club
Xiao Bao Biscuit
Pink Bellies
Lowland

Hope this helps

Are you staying downtown? Mt. Pleasant? Sullivan's, IOP? James Island, West Ashley, John's Island, Folly Beach?

When are you going?

Had a fantastic meal at The Ordinary last time we were there. Have been to numerous of the other places recommended by others and all were good, but The Ordinary was definitely the stand out meal of our last trip.

Helps a lot, thank you!

Going in mid-May, yes I will have a car to get around.

Staying in West Ashley but open to all suggestions.

There are far too many places to just say you're "open to all suggestions". I'm happy to make some recommendations but would need to know any/all of which meal(s) and what kind of food, vibe, location, and budget.

Otherwise, as others have said your best bet is to read through and bump one of the existing threads if you have questions.

Last day of Oyster season is May 15, so if you get lucky you might could get some good local oysters at Bowens Island restaurant on the water. It's a beautiful setting to eat fresh local oysters and alcoholic drinks.
