Was turned on to this place by a couple different people. Looks like they do a little bit of everything.

What’s the best couple of things over there?

Their stuffed chickens are good. The hoghead cheese is good. Also had their seasoned rabbits. Those are good as well

Tamales are very good

Should be good, similar to Hebert's Specialty Meats in Maurice, LA.........because they are from Maurice too.

Hebert's has a Baton Rouge location now. Chris's has some good stuff, but Hebert's has the best stuffed chickens I have ever had. I love the broccoli and cheese.

My wife prefers the tamales they sell to any others she's found in the city so far. They sell them by the pound as opposed to by the dozen, but they are pretty large tamales with a good ratio of meat to casing.

I do find a lot of their other stuff to be $$$, especially their cracklins. The last time I asked I was told $7.50 for a 1/4 lb. and that adds up to $30 a lb., which is insane.

Pretty sure they have a website you could check. I don't know offhand since I live close to the one in N.O.
