I go to this one fairly often.
A couple of starters:
Pepper Jelly Shrimp.
Shoestring Onion Rings.
If I do a salad:
Shrimp Remoulade.
Pecan Crusted Chicken, with a Warm Bacon Honey Mustard Dressing.
A note on Salads, they will do Spinach, Romaine or Mixed.
My favorites:
Montegut: Blackened fresh fish, topped with sauteed shrimp in a light white wine butter sauce. Set on a bed of angel hair pasta and served with vegetables.
I’ve always liked their Club Sandwich: Dressed with ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, Swiss cheese and American cheese.
For the Chaser (Dessert)
The Mississippi Mud is hard to beat!

Enjoy my friends.

We live on that end of town and we go there pretty often. I've never had a bad meal there. It's a good little place for locals.
I find their drinks are reasonably priced and so is the food.
Ps. Be quiet. Don't spread the word. Don't want it to get too busy LOL

Used to go here with my dad growing up. It’s probably been 15+ years now, but glad the place is still going strong!

Add the best chargrilled oysters around.
Use to live right by it, and would go often.
Brunch is really good as well

Most of my family are from on that side of the river in Plaquemine. Our families have been knowing each other for years.
