i do this all the time. anyone else try it?
cut your potatoes into about 1/4" - 1/2" in size. place them in rice pot. add seasoning to taste, butter, and whatever else you desire.
add 8oz of water to pot. close lid and shake it up.
place in the rice cooker and when it 'DINGS', the taters are perfect everytime. my wife and i always do this when we are grilling steaks and don't want to mess with the trimmings. allows for more wine/beer time on the patio.

We slice them up along with some onions and seasoning. Very tasty and easy.

If I owned a rice cooker I'd try this out. What if you wanted potatoes and rice for dinner??

it takes 15 minutes to cook the taters, 2 minutes to clean the pot, and 15 more minutes to cook some rice in said pot.
i believe it can be done WITH EASE.
