Costco Pre-seasoned St Louis Style Ribs

Wife wanted to make ribs and we were running out of time to cook today. I happened to see the Costco preseason St. Louis style ribs that just needed to be cooked. 2 slabs for $31. The directions called for oven temp to be at 500° for 20 minutes then take out of the oven cover with foil in back into the oven at 375° for one hour, 40 minutes. I personally am a low and slow when I smoke. I was amazed how tender these ribs were being in the over for 2 hours.
Anyone ever cook ribs in the oven with these temp settings for some tender ribs?

Seems like it would be too hot for too long, but if they worked out, then great.

Yep...followed their directions exactly and they've come out quite nice, albeit, still not as good as if you smoke them.
