Crystal and Louisiana Red Dot aren't hot sauces.

Regular Tabasco is superior to both. Granted Tabasco has been around forever and is most peoples' introduction to hot sauces, but Crystal and Red Dot are just slightly spicy watery ketchup. Texas Pete is better and it's from North Carolina.

Shocking that an Aggie would mention a hot sauce with the word Texas in it is better.... even if it isn’t made in Texas.
We really value your opinion. The whole world disagrees though otherwise there wouldn’t be multiple famous hot sauces from Louisiana

The garlic Tabasco and Tabasco Sriracha are the best. Green jalapeno Tabasco is good too. Honestly the normal red Tabasco is their worst product.

Hot sauce is about flavor for me, not heat. So while Tabasco might be ever so slightly spicier, its flavor is so much worse than Crystal. Crystal is the GOAT, barring your boutique hot sauces that manage to get both flavor and heat. I just don’t think any mass made sauce (that I’ve had) manages to nail both components. So I’ll take flavor.

I pretty much agree, I like them on things like an oyster poboy, but they are hot only to a 3rd grader and younger.
