I overlooked this stuff for decades up until a friend used some to cook our steaks one night at the beachhouse in Pensacola.
Dale's...is...awesome.
I now use it in my own steak recipes and in hamburgers as well.
Anyone else like this stuff?

Yes, I put it on the steak just before it goes on the fire...If I leave it on too long the steak becomes too salty (IMHO). But I love the crust it develops on the meat

Its very salty, and I agree you can't marinate in dales. I marnate w/ Worsch. sauce, galric and onion powder then put some Dales on thier about 30 mins before I put it on the grill.

On the bottle it says not to marinate longer than 15 min.

i would never marinade red meat in anything wet
but i do like Dale's -
try this:
mallard duck breast (must marinate longer 30-45 min), pull out of marinade, slice a small slit in breast and stuff with cream cheese and a jalepano, wrap with thick bacon and close with a skewer or toothpix. grill like a filet....medium rare.....

I marinade my steak in Dale's for about 5 hours, and chicken for about the same. Can never have enough sodium. mmmmm
