i've worn less than business casual and didn't really stick out in the bar area

Since you are at a wedding I am assuming you have a suit with you, just wear that.

I don't think the place deserves the respect of a coat and tie at all cost. If you don't have it, just wear nice pants and a button down shirt.

I wore a long sleeve button up and jeans last time I went there... Also saw a guy wearing a beanie
