Did Hooters change their wings?

Ate their today for the first time in months and the flaps no longer have tips, the breading seemed fluffier, their was less sauce and the hot sauce on the wings was not as tangy or hot. Thankfully, there was a bottle of their new hooters hot sauce on the table I was able to dump on my wings to give them a kick.

I noticed that too. Sucks because it's harder to pull the bones out.

I've been saying this for years. Some time around 2007 or so they changed their wings. Not the same old school restaurant that I used to go to.

They need bigger boobies in there too.

I ate at one recently and we all agreed something changed with the wing recipe.

I haven't been in a while, but my little brother who has zero opinion on most food told me he hated it last time he went.

He wasn't talking about the food.

I used to enjoy their wings back in the day. I haven't been in forever though. I prefer naked wings now.

The one in Katy has gone to Hell.
Wings suck. Talent sucks.

They used to have a great grilled grouper sandwich, now not so much...

I always liked their wings so this was a bit of a surprise. On the plus side, their hot sauce is great.

Use to go every week with a buddy and split a 50 piece, two curly fries and a pitcher
This was until I read where each wing had 150 calories
I always ended up eating 5-7 of his so 30-32 wings plus fries and beer is like 5000 calories.
Haven't been back, no wonder I've lost so much weight since. Lol

Last time I went, a few years ago, I looked for something not too heavy. Spotted a grilled fish sandwich of some sort and ordered it. It came out with a big glob of some kind of cheap cheese melted all over it (that was not mentioned on the menu).
That was the last of about 4 trips over the years. None found decent food. I'm done with them.

Smaller piece of fish on a hoagie style bun. It used to be on a larger hamburger bun and the fish fell out on all sides. The change was not for the better...

Yeah that would make me upset too. Not sure why they got rid of hamburger bun.

Along with the curly fries is my go to there. I use to eat the grouper sandwhich too. We only go 1-2 times a year.
I feel as though I can make chicken wings much better at my house, my wife and kids agree.
