DIET Barq's Red Cream Soda

...is only available in the Columbus Ohio area? WTF?
I've also seen that thre is a diet GOLDEN cream soda version also, but have yet to find out where its produced.
How the hell do you have a diet version of a New Orleans/Biloxi product and only have it available in OHIO?

If this is true, this is beyond F'd up! I've asked folks on the F&D board for ages about why there is not an Barq's Red Cream Soda available in Diet?
Just as with Coke selling cane sugar Coke to the rest of the world, yet sh!tting on Americans with HFCS, or American pharmaceutical companies selling scrips abroad for pennies on the dollar vs here in America..this absolutely $tink$!

Oh, its true... got this info from the customer service rep that answered the phone at the 1-800 number that i got off of the can of Diet Barq's root beer i was drinking as i thought "damn this is good, why don't they have a diet red cream?"
(sorry bout the run-on sentance)
I googled it, and found it available at sodafinder.com. They're out of stock right now, but it looks like they charge $34.95 for a 12 pack. They also had 2 liters of Diet Golden cream soda, but i don't know where that came from, because the guy on the phone only told me about the Red cream ....in frickin OHIO.

I don't know about 'diet,' but regular Barq's red cream soda is available at most gas stations in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. The golden color is harder to find.

LSUfan, i know the Barq's cream sodas are available everywhere down here, it was created here. That's exactly why i dont understand why the diet version is only available in OHIO.
