Never shop there and was wondering if they have good meat not like the wal mart shite. Ribeyes especially because I see in the sale paper they have 6.98 lb bone in ribeyes.

Sometimes. I generally pass by the nmeat section when I am there and look. Sometimes they have beautifully marbled steaks. I think they only sell choice and maybe angus.

They sell choice beef, usually have chicken breasts cheap. I don't remember seeing prime beef in there, but they usually have some good choice cuts if you're looking for a steak.

No prime. They also have a good deal on thick cut pork chops. Buy one get one free for about $6. Sometimes its buy one get two free.

Seems like every time they do that deal they jack up the price per pound so it's not really much of a deal anymore.
They had pork chops and chicken breasts for under $2 per pound last time I went, so I've got dinners this week.

I got three racks of ribs for only about 22$ last time I scored on that deal. I'd consider that pretty awesome

It's a hair above average IMO.
I rarely go though because I have rouses or fresh market around the corner.

I'll usually hit them up when the racks of baby backs are $2.89/lb. usually once every month or so.
For the price I would put them above average, but you have to look for deals.
I will say that I take the buy one get 3 free steaks and use them for work meals. Usually cook them down with a gravy or slow roast. Never tried to grill them.

I get meat occassionally from Albertson's. Never been disappointed.. Just go early for the best selection.

Don't grill them past medium, or they will be tough as shoe leather. They're not bad for what they are, a cheap meal.

They have a buy 1 get 2 free set up all the time, but really they just jack up the price. They are still a decent buy though. I usually just see chicken breasts and pork.
I've gotten some pretty good deals on salmon there also.

No, those buy 1 get 2 free things are old meat they have thrown some marinade on to try and sell.
I wouldn't buy fish from albertsons either, no way its fresh.

I am not talking about the packaged meats. I am talking about the ones in the butcher case.

I don't buy any meat from there, good quality fresher stuff is available for not much more in cost.

The "seafood market" at Albertson's smells horrible.

We do the majority of our grocery shopping at Albertson's. I think they have pretty good meat and good specials.
Albertson's bacon is a good deal. It's nice and thick cut for something like $3.99 a pound.

I like Albertson's bacon because you can buy a couple slices at a time and use it for cooking.. They have a very good deli.. nice selection of ham, roast beef, turkey, etc. and cheese.

Not always... Sometimes they sell the regular sirloin that way, and it can work out to as little as $3.33/lb. It can be very good grilled medium rare.

I've never bought steak from them, but I buy their precut pork for my jambalayas. It's usually buy one get one free
