Yeah it might not be as good as when fresh but I deal with it. I eat the frick out of leftovers. My favorite thing to do with leftover meat is to make an omelette. Especially if there is some sort of gravy. If not salsa works.

I made chimichurri chicken on Saturday and teriyaki chicken yesterday. I used thighs, which stay moister. Especially, with reserved sauce, it tastes good the next day.
Breasts dry out and need to be made into chicken salad, or something else.
I also like fried chicken out of the fridge.

Cold fried chicken is my favorite cold food.
That said, I generally don't reheat any kind of meat.

Yes. I despise leftover chicken.

I even like non-breaded hot wings the next day that werecooked on the Primo. Put them in microwave on low power until they are just getting warm then put them under the broiler, just as crisp, apply sauce as necessary.

The wife will cook a huge pack of chicken breasts and we will eat some then, and she will shred the rest for chicken salad. About the only way we will eat chicken the day after it was cooked. And it is always better after sitting in the fridge overnight than if she makes chicken salad to eat right then.

I love left over grilled chicken to make tacos or quesadilla for lunch

Agree. I won't eat leftover chicken on its own, but it isn't really limited to only chicken. I wouldn't eat a leftover pork chop or steak either.
I've always been funny about leftovers. I'll do something "mixed" like spaghetti, gumbo, jambalaya, etc. but I'm not really into meat+sides leftover. So when I make those meals, I only make what we will eat right then.

Leftover meat is best in a fajita or omelette or as a salad topping. I'll eat it all regardless, but it works better when part of a bigger dish.

Only way I do steak is to cut it into cubes and heat it up in a skillet with a little bit of bacon fat, then cook eggs in the pan after I remove the steak so I can have steak n eggs.

I actually know what you mean.
Today's chicken has a wierd funk to it after it cools off.
Pastured raised birds don't.
So it's something in the feed.

I can’t stand the way it tastes reheated in the microwave. If it is in a sauce or something then it is fine. Same for hamburgers. Things taste like arse when reheated.
