Does balsamic vinegar have an expiration?

Cleaning out the cabinets and found a bottle of...
Good stuff, top seal has been broken, but it looks like only a teaspoon has been used.
No expiration date.

I've never heard of vinegar going bad. My favorite balsamic vinegars have been aged 18, 20, even 25 years. They get sweeter with age. A good 25 year old can be eaten on ice cream.

Balsamic will likely have some settling happen, but if you gently swirl/stir and it looks normal after that, have at it.

When some things go bad, they turn into vinegar. It's fine.

I have some that is 30 years old. The older it got the thicker it became --- liquid gold.
