What's your best egg recipe? Not too fancy just a recipe using spices in your cabinet.

Three eggs whipped with salt and pepper. Put them into a med high pan with melted butter. Keep stirring and pull just before dry.
Oila. My best egg recipe.
I call it eggs a la jibbajabba. Some people call them scrambled eggs but they are copycats.

I like the Gordon Ramsey method. I'll sub sour cream, it is pretty tasty.

2 eggs scrambled with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. In the pan a tb spoon of coconut oil and cook down some onions and sliced and quartered zucchini (little bigger than diced onion) till soft then dump the egg and mix/cook. I was suprised how much I liked zucchini in it. THe smoked paprika changes the flavor a lot too so try with or without.

Eat an omelet every morning. 2 eggs, mushrooms, red bell pepper, green onion. Sauté veggies. Add eggs. Cheese at the end.

Drop onto 148 degree water for about 50 minutes for a perfectly soft boiled egg.
For the best hard boiled eggs, place eggs in a pot and cover with cool water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and cover tightly and let sit for 13 minutes. Cool under running water and voila!
One of my favorite eggs is called basted, although there's no real basting action involved. Basically it's a sunny side up egg that is steamed for the last minute or so. When the eggs are about a minute out, take a small amount of water for the steam and sprinkle/add it around the egg and cover. This creates a nice shell over the yolk without risking breaking it with the over easy method. It's perfect for dipping toast into.

Whats the advantage to doing boiled eggs this way? I just put in water and let it boil for about 6 minutes for hard boiled, 4 minutes for soft. Run cold water over them or put in an ice bath to cool.

I'm a big fan of baked (aka shirred) eggs. Eggs plus a little heavy cream, baked until as set as you like. I use ramekins, muffin tins, or little disposable baking cups. Jjust before baking, add Parmesan, Boursin cheese, bits of leftover steamed veg, diced ham, crumbled bacon, diced tomato....whatever you've got. Leftover creamed spinach is particularly good.
