Okay, I don't "cook" much in the microwave, mostly reheating and what not. But my friend had these little plastic egg cookers that you put in the micro and it was making perfect scrambled eggs everytime. So I tried to find them in the store, but couldn't.

So I took a coffee mug, rubbed a little butter inside on the bottom and sides, and scrambled an egg in it. Then covered it with a saucer and micro'd for 1 minute.

Out comes a perfectly round, perfectly cooked scrambled egg. Fits nicely on a bagel.

Huh. Who'da thunk it.

It makes sense.

I lift weights, so I'm not cooking less than a half dozen eggs at a time. I stick to the frying pan.

There used to be a coffee shop near my office (it shut down a couple of years ago., that did this.

I loved my eggs cooked this way on a biscuit with bacon and cheese, ftw.

I'm not much on scrambled eggs actually. I like the yolk running that way I can "sop" it up with some toast...

I don't think it would work with an unscrambled egg. I think the yolk might pop. I might try it.

And to the other poster... yeah, you could crumble bacon, cheese and green onion in there no problem.

And to Afreaux... I tried it with two eggs and it doesn't work so well. One egg only so far. Maybe I need a different shaped dish instead of a coffee mug.

I don't see how there is any possible way. I only eat eggs every now and then, but when I get ready for some or an egg sandwich, I'm just gonna have to stick to the skillet...

I only eat scrambled eggs with milk whisked in, left a tad uncooked where they're runny, with cheddar and fresh herbs.

Cooked in a tablespoon of butter.

I learned how to cook scrambled eggs in the microwave from back in my high school Food and Nutrition class. It's fairly common although I find that they don't taste as delicious as eggs scrambled over the stove.

It works. We used to do it all the time when we were kids. I do it with a skillet nowadays though.

The texture is off when they are scrambled in the microwave.

i think microwaved eggs are too rubbery. i would rather dirty a dish and a pan and eat a good egg
