Described as a love letter to his Portuguese heritage, it is set to open this week. It features a full Jamon Bar as well as the dining room, and the menu to me looks awesome. Different than what is in New Orleans, love the look of it. Dinner menu is up, but they have not yet put the Jamon Bar or drinks menus up

That is (unfortunately) common now in restaurants in NYC, LA and Vegas and has definitely spread all over the country.

When Justine first opened they were doing that.

And burlesque girls walking through the place…was pretty great.

Just read the nola article. The DJ will be on weekend nights after 9pm. They are also staying open until midnight during the week and until 2am(!!!) on weekends trying to attract the hospitality crowd.

Methinks they are going to pull back on that a little bit.

They better have a different late night menu because not many people that will be in during those hours are going to be dropping the cash for the regular menu.

I guess they are going to try and attract the Jolie crowd? I don't know. That seems like a business plan that won't work but what do I know

Cringe. I surprised they don’t have that still given that restaurants trajectory.

Opens today and they still don't have beverage menu or jamon bar menus up on the website, which seems a little not on the ball for a Emeril place

A Portugese menu by Emeril intrigues me. I'll try it once for sure.
