I am told that Culver’s fish sammich is awesome.
It is a very solid fish sandwich. Cod I believe, and you get a decent size piece of fish. Someone did a side by side with McDonold's:
Apparently they either did or also have a walleye one

I've enjoyed everything I've had at culvers. Just don't have them near me.

Give me a footlong subway tuna all day, double toasted, extra mayo

I haven't had the Culvers sandwich but I'm assuming its the same fish as their fish n chips, it is very good fish n chips. Its an actual piece of fish, not just a pressed patty.

Dairy Queen fish sandwich is a lot better than you would expect it to be.

Used to love Arthur Treacher's when I was a kid. Not sure if they were that good or because I had a young palate at the time, but I loved em.

Ask for the Bojangler on a biscuit. That's good eatin'...

I went by Popeyes yesterday and grabbed a fish sandwich and large fry, sandwich was fishy as frick, I took 3-4 bites and tossed it in the trash. I also didn't realize a large fry was enough for a family of 4. $13 and bchange to throw it away sucks. Wish I would hae went the other direction and got a Culvers walleye sandwich, never had a bad meal from Culvers.

The Walleye is seasonal at Culvers. Usually around Lent, but I think they serve it for a while after Lent.
Their tartar sauce is excellent, but they don't put much on their sandwiches. Order extra if you like tartar.
Finally, I think the cod sandwich comes with cheese on it. If you don't like cheese on a fish sandwich, have them leave it off. The Walleye is cheese less...
Both sandwiches come with real fish that are breaded and cooked to order. No frozen fish patties.

I did another blind taste test this past weekend (the link to the original one w/ photos is on Page 1.) We got Popeyes, Wendys, BK, Culvers (cod), Arbys, and Freddys. Top 3 were Culvers, BK, and Freddys (no particular order). Popeyes finished last.

We just got a Freddy's so I will have to check that out. A surprisingly bad one was Whataburger.

the idea that Popeyes is using actual flounder in their “flounder” sandwich is comical. They’d have to sell that sandwich for 15 bucks if that were the case

Freddy’s is supposed to be flounder also.

I think it was. It was solid. I’d get it again.

Y'all are pretty cavalier about where you get your seafood.
My hat's off. Hope the food poisoning isn't too bad.

I see you use the word “tuna”, but it’s questionable what’s actually in the sandwich.
