not even a question. zapps crawtators are the go to chip. creole sour cream and onion and the tomato ones are good changes of pace.

Zapps Voodoo Gumbo, the new flavor. Has anyone tried these?

Saw them in the store the other day.

Yes, and I liked them a lot.

They are pretty potent, not spicy, but lots of flavor.

I don't think I can choose because I get different flavors in Miss Vickies and Zapps. I get sea salt and vinegar Miss Vickies, and Zapps I like creole tomato or crawtators. Zapps are harder to find around here as well, and when I do find them, the flavor selection is limited.

My favorite were Charles Unsalted. They used to get sold in a can.

Zapps crswtaters, incredible. If you really love unusual flavors and kettle chips go to Target and try the store brand, Archer. The Maui Onion has a subtle flavor, most of the flavors are delicious. I like that resealable bag they come in, in the rare event I don't finish them off in the 1st sitting.

Where is Miss Vickies based out of? I always support a Louisiana product first.

No. Supposedly the flavoring was an accident. A Zapps employee supposedly accidentally mixed ALL of their seasonings and when they tried it, the employees liked it.

Zapps held a contest at the Beer Fest in Baton Rouge to name the new flavor and some guy from Gonzales won with the name "Voodoo Gumbo".

So, it doesn't taste like Gumbo, but much like gumbo the flavor is the result of a mixture of all seasonings "in the kitchen".

And that is pretty much what the back of the bag says.

Taste like a mix between Cajun Crawl Tator and Creole Tomato and Tabasco mix.

Jalapeno is my favorite
