My favorites here in Lafayette are:
Blanchard’s BBQ
Pop’s Poboys
Johnson’s Bouncaniere
Five Mile Eatery
If you’re referring to chains only, then probably Shake Shack. I don’t tend to enjoy the fast casual concept, so I don’t know that many of them outside of the local options that I listed.

I vote for Cowboy Chicken because I feel it offers something different.
Cheeba Hut is a good one too.
The ones I dine at most frequently would be Izzo’s and Lit, or any burrito shop or pizza shop.
