Pour One can of frozen limeade in blender. Fill can half way with tequila, 1/4 triple sec and 1/4 oj. Blend.

How many will that make? Do I freeze it after blending?

I do the same but a whole can of tequila and only ice nothing else.

Blend with a pitcher of ice and it makes about 4.

Since you have to ask, just go buy the Jose Cuervo pre maid Gold Margarita. Pour on rocks = instant bliss.

Why do that when I want to make my own and I am sure that people on this board make better ones than the pre mix.

Because your obviously gonna screw em up. Did you never make these in high school?

Nope never started drinking Margaritas until after college. Did not like the taste or smell of Tequilla. And if I screw them up, its on me. That is why I am asking for a recipe. I guess I could ask my aunt who bartended on Bourbon for years and was food beverage mgr at a historic hotel ut rather get different opinions.

Pro tip: use fresh fruit.
Slice up a lime or two and half of a good juice orange, and toss them into a wide mouth glass. Add a slug of agave nectar, and the juice from the other half of the orange. Now muddle the whole mess; a large wooden spoon will work.
Use this "juice" in the tequila / triple sec ratio of your choice. Honestly I just dump the other liquids in the muddle-glass and shake in order to pick up all the extra juice flavor I can.
Put in some effort to find limes and oranges with the right taste. This is one area for which putting up with the irritating shoppers at Whole Foods is worth it.

^^Sorta like this^^
I use a vitamix blender and 2 trays of ice.
1 Large can frozen limeaid - dump
3/4 of same can with tequila
1/2 of same can of triple sec
2 trays of ice then pulverize to a mush in vitamix (or similar pulverizing blender)
sometimes throw in a handful of blueberries (when in season)
This all takes about 3 minutes.
If needed, I store what's left in freezer but it normally goes pretty fast and I usually have to make several batches.
If you drink it too fast the top of your head will feel like it's about to blow out.

Do yourself a favor and sub Cointreau or another orange liqueur instead of triple sec. This make all the difference in the world.

Will Grand Marnier work?

re: Grand Marnier:
It's expensive as hell but it will work well.
For me, taken neat:
Grand Marnier>Cointreau>Gran Gala>>Triple Sec.
That's just my opinion, though. Your results may differ.

Yes. I'm not a huge Grand Marnier fan so it's not my goto.
Here's one that I tried, and I think it's the best if your making straight margaritas(no berries, no melons, etc.)
Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur

3/4 can tequila
3/4 blender if ice
1 teaspoon salt
Blend and serve in frozen glass with salted rim.
Buy a margaritaville blender.
