We have had them a year old and they were ok. Frozen solid in water. Probably have some in the freezer now that we will cook that are that old.

I think there's also a distinction in more optimal taste, vs food safety. You could probably eat them after years but the freezer burn would have dried them out and messed up their texture and taste.

A year.... especially if you have them packed away just headless with their tail shells on. Then 18 months. They never last that long in my house

my uncle was a shrimper. Never had problems storing and freezing shrimp in these for at least a year back in the 70's/80's

Quick internet search shows neither of them have been found and are still listed as missing today.

They think they know who took Jennifer Martilez but can't prove it or even have enough evidence to charge the guy.

Thomas Welnicki was a family friend that had a pretty extensive criminal record. He came forward claiming to have had a vision of her abduction and described 2 men, one in his 40's and the other in his 20's who kidnapped and harmed the girl. Ironically, the 20 something year old's description he gave very closely matched his description.

Although the police strongly suspected the guy, there was just not enough evidence to prove it.

I honestly have yet to pull something out of my freezer that was bad even tho it had been in there for year-s. As long as it not weird freezer burnt looking I have eaten it. YMMV

I break the heads off, put 2lbs in a plastic Rubbermaid Container and barely cover them with water. Stick them in the freezer and they keep really well. When Im ready to use the I put them in the sink and run cool water over and peel them as they defrost, takes about 4 or 5 minutes.
