I think I would prefer the gas-
What do you have - elect or gas?
Where did you get it?
Do you recommend it?
what say ye?

I have had electric smokers for 20 years. Set it and forget it. easy to be a cook with one of these.

I have electric and wood. The electric is great because you can set it and forget about it and you will always have power for it. With the gas, you have to worry about making sure your tank has enough in it.
In my opinion, you're not going to get a good smoke flavor from either one, but that's just my opinion. I mostly use a wood smoker now and I love it. A lot more work, but I think the flavor is much better

Neither, the Weber 22-1/2" smokey mountain is the best smoker I have ever used.
