I love John Michaels Good Eats. I could drink a bucket of their pasta salad

Some great options.
I’d add Pho Viet- really good new Vietnamese place on Hwy 30
Albashas- good Lebanese 30 or Airline location both good
ToGoes- on Burnside has biggest and one of best burgers around.
Salt and Light- Airline- really good sushi
The Cabin- pretty good local seafood/cajun

Cabin is not open to dining at the moment

Thanks wick for the hospitality and great pizza!
Glad to see you come in. I wished I would have known it was you sooner and I would have tried to chat for a few more minutes. Also, I Hope your daughter performed well in her gymnastics meet.

Philay's is across the street from sno's but, they aren't very good.
Serving lots of patrons every time I visit...we started going at 5pm on Thursdays & Fridays to avoid the crowds.
I'd say hoards of customers, and many repeat customers, can't be wrong!
Bottom line is never take advice from a CLOWN!

sorry Mr. Philay but, your food sucks. I live walking distance from the place and drive past it to other places.

Folks here regularly shite on Rocco's. But, most days you can't even get in their parking lot.

I dunno, there's 38000 McDonalds in the world.
I have been to Philays 4 times and have never understood why people flock there. Nothing has been good. Very little flavor in anything I've tried. It isn't gross or anything, it's just not good.

We'll definitely swing by to eat when were in the area. She got 1st place on Bars, hopefully yours did well too!
(sorry we ran a little late getting out of there, I looked for you to say hey but didn't see you)

The best restaurant in Ascension Parish is Houmas House, but that is more white linen, fancy dining.
Mike Anderson’s is top notch. Never had a bad meal there.
Roberto's - would be my top pick based on experience that is a decade old.
Sno's was good. But that is 2 decades old info.
Mike Andersons and Houmas House I've been in recently and agree on both picks.

She placed 1st in the vault and finished 5th overall. Her team won 1st for the meet also. They have a strong lineup of girls

I think we are going to try this place tonight. What's your go to meal at Roberto's?

They have weekend specials, a steak and a fish dish. Look there first

Incorrect, and best tasting fried catfish in town.

I live a few blocks from there, and I find Roma pizzas to be insanely oily.
Vitamin G, baby.

Ate at Sno’s last week, food was very good.
Mike sold out to Harry Robert, still same menu and quality.
